The Youth Teepee Summit is a gathering of many voices to share knowledge\, wisdom and experiences. \nThis summit is a hopeful and solution-oriented approach to empower our youth by moving forward reconciliation to reconcili-ACTION!

SUMMARY:National Gathering of Elders Kanata
DESCRIPTION:The Gathering is the need for Elders throughout the Canada to have inter-social and community links that bind them together as a Nation. It allows them to intermingle with like-minded\, like-aged individuals and their families\, to reveal common grounds that strengthen those links. It will offer the opportunity to interface with youth\, which helps to mitigate the generation gap\, and allows the younger generations to demonstrate respect\, regard\, and honor for their Elders.

DESCRIPTION:Register now: October 2025 IT'S TIME Workshop!\n\nDate: October 28 & 29\, 2025\nTime: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (day 1) and 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (day 2)\nVenue: Delta Calgary South (135 Southland Dr SE\, Calgary)\n\nIT’S TIME is a free 2-day workshop for wellness workers from communities across Treaty 6\, Treaty 7\, Treaty 8\, and the homeland of the Métis peoples. It focuses on culturally based ways to help people quit smoking commercial tobacco products (like cigarettes). \nWith support from guiding Elder Dr. Andrew Bear Robe\, participants at the workshop will: \n\nExplore the differences between sacred tobacco and commercial tobacco\nShare ways to help people quit or cut down on commercial tobacco\nLearn how wise practices can help people on a quit journey\nDiscover tools to adapt for local communities\n\nIf you’re interested in attending the IT’S TIME Workshop in fall 2025\, please email: tvcp@primarycarealberta.ca. Bursaries may be available to help cover the cost of travel\, hotel\, and food.
